Why did you become a Physical Therapy Assistant?
I became involved with PT because I wanted to help improve a person's quality of life in more ways than one. Physical therapy is more than just the physical healing of our bodies but also combines mental components as well such as motivating and bringing positivity throughout the recovery process. Watching someone walk for the first time since their injury, play with their grandkids, or return back to their senior year of football is an amazing experience to be apart of and makes this job fulfilling. I feel very blessed to help others get back to their way of life, physically and mentally!
