DUAIN ABBOTT
PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Duain earned his Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Montana in Missoula, MT in 1997. In a previous career, he achieved a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT. He has been practicing Physical Therapy in the Bitterroot Valley for 17 years. Clinical experience was gained working in Montana, Utah, and Idaho, treating numerous orthopedic and neurological clinical challenges.
His career interests have focused on manual therapy, general orthopedics, sports injuries, and post-total joint rehabilitation. Continuing education courses have advanced his skills for manual therapy and returning clients back to function and independence after total hip and knee surgery, as well as shoulder and sports injuries.
Duain was born in Virginia, raised in Philadelphia, and started a slow but steady westward migration where he discovered the Bitterroot Valley. His interests are skiing, hiking, cycling, hunting, fishing, and home and structure building and remodeling.
