Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
I was first introduced to physical therapy as a patient while in high school following knee surgery. As I learned more about the profession, I knew it was a perfect fit for me. I love the daily variety and life-long learning aspects of the profession, the analytical aspects of constantly evaluating a patient’s progress, and the human body’s incredible ability to heal. Most importantly, I absolutely love helping people. I love getting to know patients so I can develop the best treatment plans to help them achieve their goals, and I love empowering them by teaching them ways to help manage their conditions on their own.
