Adriana graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. For the past 13 years she has worked in outpatient private clinic and outpatient hospital setting treating a variety of clientele including general orthopedics, musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, and pediatrics. Adriana has taken extensive continuing education courses in manual therapy techniques including muscle energy technique, Maitland concept as well as orthopedic and sports rehab and functional dry needing. Professional interests additionally include an approach in functional training that helps patients to perform activities in everyday life easier.
In her free time, Adriana enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her husband, son, daughter and three dogs.
Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
I chose to become a physical therapist to assist people in the community to be active, healthy and return to their activity level after an injury. I also enjoy getting to know every patient and help them achieve what is important to them.
