Sports: We employ the only Board Certified Sports Specialist in the Bitterroot Valley(Doug Martin). Our sports program provides comprehensive services for athletes of all ages and levels of activity. We seek to return you to your activity level as quickly and completely as possible. We use all of the knowledge we have gained through specialization to provide rehabiliation that is both caring and progressive. We can assist with bracing and training modification as needed to keep you active.

Aquatic: Our practice is the leader in Western Montana in aquatic rehabilitation. We offer three aquatic centers to meet your individual needs .Our Hamilton office boasts a Swimex 1000 pool with current generating capabilities. Depths are 4-6 feet with stairs and comfortable lift entry/exit into and out of the pool. We are able to generate .1 to 10 mph of current to make your rehabilitation more complete. Our Corvallis location offers a Hydroworx 500 therapy pool. This pool has variable depths and a treadmill integrated in the floor. We are able to generate variable currents to offer flexibility to your rehabilitation. As always, you can expect warm, clean, and comfortable locker rooms and showers for your comfort. Our Canyons Health club location offers the only indoor 25 meter pool in Hamilton. This pool offers multiple uses and is perfect for our more active patients as they progress in their recovery. If you are a swimmer and need rehabilitation to resume your training, this location works great.

Womens Health: Our womens health specialist (Sheri Stroppel) provides caring and compassionate care in a private environment. From incontinence to lymphedema, you will receive the latest techniques for care to help to return to your desired level. Sheri and Heidi are also certified Jobst compression and bandaging garment distributors.

Bracing and orthotics: Our knowledgable staff can assist you in making the right decisions regarding braces and foot orthotics. There is no simple decision when it comes to bracing or the complex art of creating foot orthotics. We work with many brace companies (Breg, CTI, Bledsoe, Benik, Hely-Weber, DonJoy, and more) to ensure you get the proper brace for your injury.Prior to placing orthotics in anyone's shoes, our therapists perform a thorough bio-mechanical evaluation of your entire lower body to ensure a good fit and that your foot problems will be addressed. We offer 3 lines of orthotics to match the severity of your symptoms and give you freedom to choose which price range best fits your individual needs.

Post-surgical rehabilitaiton: We work closely with your doctors to provide care that will gently and progressively help you recover from your surgery. Our therapists will follow established protocols from your surgeon to ensure consistent therapy every visit. Common surgeries that we treat are: ACL reconstruction, knee arthroscopies, rotator cuff repair, total hip replacements, total knee replacements, spine surgeries, foot and ankle surgeries, elbow and hand surgeries.

Certified Hand Therapy for the Bitterroot Valley: We are pleased to offer Sheri Stroppel, the only Certified Hand Therapist who is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in the State of Montana. Sheri is a highly trained Certified Hand Therapist who has passed a rigorous examination that demonstrates advanced knowledge of hand and upper extremity issues. Her extensive experience gives Sheri a unique advantage to treat all upper extremity injuries with specialization in disorders including the spine. Sheri is able to fabricate and modify splints within our facility. We work closely with your doctor to follow their desired protocol and ensure proper communication to help speed your recovery. Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization: This state-of-the-art technique sets us apart in our ability to treat various soft tissue injuries. We are certified to provide this complex treatment approach to expedite your recovery. This technique helps in reducing scar tissue and adhesions that may be present. Gentle mobilization with soft tissue tools will be completed by your therapist. Common ailments treated with this approach include: Tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Rotator Cuff Problems, Hip (Trochanteric) Bursitis, Tennis or Golfer's Elbow, and Post Surgical or Post Traumatic Scars. Infrared Light Therapy: We are pleased to offer “Anodyne” Infrared Light Therapy for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy. Neuropathy is a condition which can result in pain, poor sensation, trouble sleeping, balance problems, and problems completing your daily tasks. Our comprehensive program includes the latest technologies available. We utilize infrared light therapy which has been proven to increase circulation and reduce pain, stretching and strengthening, balance and walking exercises, and other techniques to help you reach your goals. Each program or session is specifically designed for you. Our program generally consists of 10-12 sessions based on your individual needs. Headache and TMJ issues: We specialize in headache and TMJ treatments. We work closely with local physicians and dentists to ensure the best possible outcomes. Our board certified Specialists have extensive specialized training in these areas.
