Women's Health
Our specialized program for the treatment of women's health issues is leading the way for women in western Montana. Our primary specialist is Sheri Stroppel. Her vast experience and specialization along with a caring and compassionate approach will ensure a positive experience. Treatment for incontinence, lymphedema of the upper or lower extremity, and post mastectomy care are just a few areas we address in this comprehensive program.
Osteoarthritis (OA) Program
Our OA program focuses on reducing your pain, improving your range of motion and strength, and helping you return to your activities of daily living. Research has shown that for hip and knee OA, exercise is one of the best treatments to reduce pain and improve function. Our program approach is to find the right exercises for you and develop a plan that you can follow independently when your formal therapy is complete. We have developed multiple plans based on the severity of your arthritis. Some programs include aquatic therapy, others include more focus on stretching and strengthening. We work closely with your doctor to help you achieve your goals. If your doctor is recommending physical therapy because of osteoarthritis, our family of clinics has the specialized program that will give you the best opportunity for success.
Joint Replacement Program
Our program is the most comprehensive approach to rehabilitation following joint replacement surgeries. We work with Total Hip, Knee and Shoulder replacements. Our therapists have received additional training to help you recover as quickly and completely as possible. We work closely with your surgeon and follow their desired protocols to ensure a seamless recovery. We focus on restoring your range of motion and flexibility, strength, and ability to return to your activities of daily living. If you are considering a Joint Replacement, inform your surgeon that you would like to rehabilitate with us.
Foot and Ankle Clinic
Our clinic specializing in foot and ankle care is one of our leading programs. Our therapists have received specialized training and receive regular updates to current concepts in rehabilitation of foot and ankle disorders. We focus on the relationship of the foot and ankle to the entire leg and the performance of these areas during walking, running, or normal daily activities. We offer multiple orthotic choices and can consult on proper footwear.
Aquatic Therapy
We offer specialized aquatic rehabilitation in both of our Hamilton locations as well as our Corvallis office. We have multiple programs to offer, ranging from low back, hip, knee, foot/ankle, and general rehabilitation. Our Hamilton (Fairgrounds Road) and Corvallis pools are maintained at a comfortable 88-92 degrees. Our Canyons location offers a slightly cooler but much larger lap pool. Our locker rooms are adjacent and kept comfortably warm and very clean. Our pool rooms are very light with many windows, creating a happy and relaxed environment. We are able to accommodate sports injuries in our deeper areas that allow running in a non-weight bearing environment. Our pools have hydraulic lift systems which can be utilized by patients unable to walk up/down the stairs leading into the pool. We take pride in leading the area in our aquatic facilities as well as the quality of the physical therapy services in our aquatic program.
The Spine Center
Our spine center approach seperates our family of clinics from other physical therapy practices. This program focuses on the latest research to guide our treatment plans to ensure you the most up-to-date techniques and procedures possible. We focus on neck, mid-back and low back pain. We provide manipulations, mobilizations, traction, use of modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, and exercise to speed your recovery. Our therapists continue to pursue the best practice standards to only provide services that are proven most effective in current literature. We focus on patient education and instruction to help you self manage your condition as much as possible. If you have chronic or new spine pain, a visit with one of our therapists is sure to be beneficial.
Endurance Athlete Clinic
Endurance athletes require a different set of rules. If you are reading this section you probably know what I mean. The most common complaint we hear is the first reaction by health care professionals is rest. That is the last thing most endurance athletes want to do. We are endurance athletes as well, and we understand what type of rehabilitation you need. Our therapists consistently run road races of all lengths including marathons. We also have therapists who regularly compete in triathlons. We work with you to understand the cause of the problem, how to remedy the problem and keep you training in a way that speeds your recovery, not slow it down. We can make recommendations regarding training programs and appropriate equipment and technique.
Independent Pool Program
This program is very popular. We offer independent pool use for people who would like to exercise in our therapy pools. For a minimal fee, you can use our aquatic facilities independently for up to an hour during our open swim times. Whether you want to swim against the current, perform exercises, or just walk in these fantastic environments, you decide. Call one of our friendly offices to inquire about your medical clearance, cost, and open swim times.

This program allows you to use our exercise gym as a healthclub. For $25.00 per month, you can use the exercise gym and have access to our locker rooms on an unlimited basis during our normal working hours.
